Blender Overview

Here you can learn how to export a 3D model from Blender and the export guidelines to follow to get the best results on 3DtoMe.

Blender Overview

3DtoMe Blender

Blender is the free and open-source 3D creation suite. It supports the entirety of the 3D pipeline as modeling, rigging, animation, simulation, rendering, compositing and motion tracking, even video editing and game creation.

Remember to reset the transforms on your mesh objects before exporting them from Blender and to scale your objects to a size that is appropriate for viewing in augmented reality.

Export Guidelines

We suggest using the following export settings when exporting a OBJ, USDZ or GLB file from Blender:

  • File > Export > Wavefront (.obj) or USD (.usdz) or GLB (.glb)

  • Objects as OBJ Objects, USDZ or GLB
