Explode your 3D models

The explosion feature allows you to move, rotate, and scale all the single parts of your 3D model. With a simple click, you can launch an explosion animation that will show all the parts of your 3D model. With another click, you can reassemble the parts on their original position, rotation and scale.

You can also enable a wireframe view of the parts to better understand the internal structure of your 3D model, how the parts are connected, and how complex the model is.

For now, the explosion feature is available only on the 3DtoMe app for Vision Pro.

Only models with multiple parts can be exploded. So, any model created with photogrammetry can't be exploded because it's a single part model.

To explode a 3D model on Vision Pro, after opening the 3DtoMe app and selecting the 3D model you want to explode, click on the explode icon. You can find it in the bar you see at the bottom of the model.

After that, you can enable the wireframe view with the View Mesh toggle, enable or disable the separation of the parts with the Explode toggle, launch the explosion animation with the Magic Animation button and reassemble the parts with the Reset 3D Model button.
